This bothers me. How can someone give the okay to burn multiple Holy Bibles as trash? I would bet any amount of money that this would not have been done to the Koran.
Is the government more afraid of offending Muslim extremists than offending Christians? Don’t answer that question. You and I both know the answer.
I feel that the Holy Bibles should have been mailed back to the church that sent them. If there was a concern about the church mailing them back, they could have asked the church not to mail them again, due to the nature of the conflict in Afghanistan. I think the church would have obliged.
The U.S. Military also could have chosen to keep the Holy Bibles locked up on site. Besides, there wasn’t any evidence to confirm that these Holy Bibles had been distributed.
Even a top military official agreed that burning the Holy Bibles wasn’t the best way to handle this.
At the very least, the U.S. Military should issue an apology and reimburse the church that sent the bibles for the cost.
Where is the respect for Christianity these days? Where is the respect for the Holy Bible? Why is it considered okay to burn Holy Bibles as trash?

It is amazing how we are now more concerned with upsetting other faiths outside of Christianity. And sadly I don’t see it getting any better anytime soon.
That is awful
too many people are worried about “coexisting” and they forget about God’s wrath :
wow! how terrible!
I can’t even tear mark in my Bible with out feeling like I’m doing something very wrong, and to think that some are able to burn it as though it’s a piece of trash.
I’m sure God is paying close attention to those who have chosen to burn his words.
