It’s getting really close to Christmas! For the next couple of posts, I will focus on Christmas related topics.
The topic of the day? Favorite Christmas Songs.
I love Christmas songs! I start playing them right before Thanksgiving and continue playing them through the New Year. It’s just something about the songs that immediately bring a sense of happiness and joy to me.
My Favorite Christmas Songs:
O Holy Night
Carol of the Bells
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman
What Child is This?
It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
We Three Kings
Okay…
I guess I’ll stop here because there are several more that I could name. But as for the above list, it doesn’t matter who sings those songs. Chances are that I will like it.
Right now, my favorite Christmas CD is:
A Mary Mary Christmas by Mary Mary. This CD came out in 2006. I probably bought it in 2007 or 2008 and I’m just listening to it this year. I have been missing out on a great treat.
I also like the WOW Christmas Green and Yellow CDs. I like the We Three Kings version by Building 429 and O Holy Night by Barlow Girl.
To wrap it all up, EVERYONE should have a copy of A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. There is no better CD to play while you are decorating your Christmas tree.

Aretha Franklin sang O Holy Night on The View the other day ( I viewed it online ) and holy moly, it knocked my SOCKS off…it is already my fave Christmas tune but she sang it and made me cry.
I can't get enough of most Christmas music! As long as it's not uber-cheesy…but I'll even sing along to those.
