I wanted to do the same for my mom when she turne 50 but life got in the way and I had to wait until she turned 60 but it was just as special as what I had hoped for. she enjoyed herself and is still talking about it also.<br /><br />for Valentine's Day (we really don't celebrate the day society has turned into a circus) I took her and my daughter shopping and then to dinner with my hubby.<br /><br />happy belated birthday to your mom that was special to give her a surprise party. I threw a 50th surprise birthday party for my husband and he had no clue. It was just a few family members and some friends I had come over and sit in our living room while we were out. I gave to house key to a good friend of ours to let the people in before we arrived. I thought he would have a heart attack when he turned kitchen corner and saw people in our living room!
