Happy Friday everybody!
Today I’m participating in MilSpouse Friday Fill-In, which is hosted by Wife of a Sailor. Every Friday, questions are posted for military spouses to answer on their blog. We then put the link to our blog post on a list so that we can visit each other’s blog. It’s a cool way to meet other military spouses and an interesting way for you to get to know me a little better.
1. If you were a famous movie star, what types of movies would you star in? Hmm….I never thought about this before. I guess I would star in fantasy movies. I think the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is one of the best of all time. I’m really excited about “The Hobbit” coming out some time this year. I also need to see the latest “Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” movie.
2. What is a vacation you would like to take if money were no object? I would love to go to Hawaii! I’ve only heard good things about vacationing there. My camera would be overloaded with pictures of all the tourist attractions. Beaches and beautiful water makes me happy and relaxed. Now if I only knew how to swim…
3. Did you have pets growing up? Yes! My dad loves dogs and always kept one around the house. Our first dog’s name was Bo. He was a white pit bull/bulldog mix. He lived for 10 years and was just like family. When he died, I made an obituary for him. It was a sad day in our household. I was around 9 or 10 at the time. We’ve had several dogs since then, but none of them were as special as Bo.
4. What do you do for exercise? I like to exercise with the Wii. The Michael Jackson Experience game is helping me to shed pounds. I also like the Wii Fit.
5. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received as a MilSpouse? To view the military as God’s way of fulfilling his will for my life. God is totally in control and he directs assignments, deployments, and TDYs. When I think of it this way, things become less overwhelming because I know that God has my best interest in mind.

In case you ever decide to go, there is an AMAZING military only hotel in Hawaii called the Hale Koa! Their rates are insane… under $100 a night and you’re right by the beach and the airport. If you can get your airfare figured out the hotel stay won’t break the budget.

I would soooo love to go to Hawaii too! I always hear how wonderful it is there, I am dying to go to a real live luau!! Thanks for the comment on blog too!!
