Japan desperately needs our prayers!

The country was hit with an earthquake AND tsunami on Friday, March 11, 2011. Thousands are feared dead. The devastation is unbelievable, with many cities being totally obliterated. On top of that, the Japanese people are facing the possibility of radiation exposure due to damage at several nuclear power plants.
Let’s go to God in prayer.
Dear Lord,
Please be with the people of Japan. They’ve endured several natural disasters in just one day. We know that we can come to you with our troubles and burdens and right now we ask you to hear this prayer.
God please lead and guide the first responders. Guide them quickly to every remaining survivor. Give them strength when they are weak and weary. Help them to work together with a spirit of unity. Provide every resource they need to do a good job. Protect them from exposure to harmful elements. Keep them safe as they dig and travel through debris. Shield them from post traumatic stress disorder.
Be with those who survived the earthquake and tsunami. Calm their fears. Create resources for them to start over again. Provide food, water, and shelter for them. Meet every need they have. Give them hope for a better day. Bless them with a strong resilience. Help them to get through any psychological trauma.
Give peace and comfort to those that have lost loved ones. Aid those who are looking for missing relatives and friends. Enable them to get answers quickly.
Intervene in the situation with the nuclear reactor. Give supernatural wisdom to everyone working to come up with a solution.
Speak to those that are in authority, the prime minister and all of those that make governmental decisions. Give them a solid plan of success for rebuilding Japan.
Thank you Lord for protecting military families that are stationed at various places in Japan. Continue to keep a hedge of protection around them.
Stir up a desire among people all over the world to help in some way, whether it is through monetary donations, or through a simple prayer. Help us to have compassion for our fellow man.
Thank you Lord in advance for answering this prayer. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Very nice prayer. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to those in Japan and all affected by this. My heart breaks to read about this tradgedy.
