About Me
Welcome!
My name is Tonya and I’m a 30 something, public health professional & freelance writer. My husband is in the military and we have a wonderful little boy who is overcoming the odds despite being diagnosed with Autism.
The overall goal of my blog is to bring inspiration, inform, and brighten the day of others with an occasional dose of humor sprinkled along the way. I generally blog about things applicable to the Christian faith, military life, mommyhood, and whatever else pops up in my head.
Feel free to look around and check out some of my posts. If you like what you see, go ahead and subscribe so we can stay connected. If you are a fellow blogger, I’ll check out your blog too.
Have a blessed day!

I love to write but have not taken the time over the many years since I first put my thoughts to pen. Your Christmas Ornament article caught my eye and made me think of the ornament I received from my Math teacher when Phil and I got married back in 1983. She wanted me to start a tradition of purchasing an ornament each year. It fell right in line with my mother who bought the Hallmark ornaments for us each year…special ones she picked out for us from a memory. Thanks so much for blessing me at this holiday time. Merry and Blessed Christmas to you and yours.
Merry Christmas to you too!
I think the purchasing of a special ornament every year is a wonderful tradition. I think I am going to do that with my children. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hi Tonya-
Popping over from twitter and I must say that I really like your blog. My brother is retired from the navy. I also have a masters in public health…health education to be exact. I love God, blogging, parenting and working from home. Great to connect with you.
Sounds like we have a lot in common! Health education was my focus as well. Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a great weekend!
